RICHMOND, Ind. – Norma J. Werner, age 83, of Richmond, Indiana, died Monday, February 28, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Born May 13, 1938, in Greene County, Tennessee, to Fain and Tabitha Barr Gregg, Norma lived in Wayne County, Indiana, most of her life. She was a 1957 graduate of Boston High School in Indiana. Norma was a member of First English Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and cooking and had been an active member of the Fair Acres Home Extension Club. Norma was a loving wife and mother, who will be dearly missed. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Adolph C. “Ott” Werner; sons, Kurt S. (Denise K.) Werner of Enon, Ohio, and Jeff K. (Keith A. Townsend) Werner of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Lynette Werner of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Gregg. Visitation for Norma J. Werner will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor John R. Walker and Pastor Chip Belanga officiating. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.
