He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Gwendoline Oakes Allen, who died in 2004; daughter, Lynette Allen Neal; son, Jeffrey Allen; son-in-law, Jeffrey Neal; sisters, Roberta Morgan and Betty Jean Allen; and brothers, Oral, Frederick, Howard, and Robert Allen. The family would like to thank the nurses on 5-East and the Hospice staff of Reid Health for the wonderful care they gave to Earl. Visitation for Earl Eugene Allen will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
