Aaron R. DiGenova Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Aaron R. DiGenova, age 85, of Richmond, Indiana, died unexpectedly Friday, July 8, 2022, at Reid Health, surrounded by his family. Born May 12, 1937, in Logansport, Indiana, to Joseph and Helen Bobenmoyer DiGenova, Aaron had lived in this area since 1971. He was a graduate of Logansport High School and worked at NCR Corporation before spending most of his career at GTE as a supervisor, retiring in 1997. Aaron was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan. Aaron always took care of his family and loved them dearly. He was very structured and meticulous in all he did. Aaron will be remembered for always doing anything he could to help others. Survivors include his wife Gerri DiGenova, to whom he was married December 18, 1965; daughter, Sherry (Neil) Pardo of Richmond; son Andy (Cindy) DiGenova of Hagerstown, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Sarah DiGenova of Richmond; grandchildren, Adam, Christopher (Sierra), Alex (Diana), Jordan (Jacob Thompson), Nickolas (Kiersten Ramey), Austin (Carson Burks); sister, MonaLee Rance of Terre Haute, Indiana; brothers, Null DiGenova of Florida, and Danny DiGenova of Tennessee; nieces; nephews; and many friends, including his lifelong friend, Bill Adams. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tony DiGenova; and three grandsons, Sean, Jared, and Eric. The family would like to thank the EMTs and the ER Staff at Reid Health for their compassionate care. Visitation for Aaron R. DiGenova will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Mills Funeral Home with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
