Born March 4, 1954, in Richmond, to Carl and Kate Halstead Smith, she lived most of her life in Williamsburg. Patti attended Liberty High School. She was a home health care aid. Patti loved to play games and spend time with her grandchildren, sisters, and family. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, John Stephenson Sr.; son, John Stephenson Jr. of Richmond; daughters, Nicole N. Stephenson (Bobby Ravencraft) of Oxford, Ohio and Tiffany A. Mull (Michael) of Richmond; six grandchildren, Gavin, Wesley, Mason, and Rory Mull, Zoey Stephenson, and Nick Ravencraft; sisters, Ruby Cornelius (Eldon) of Brookville, Viola Browning (Bill) of Brookville, Connie Keller of Connersville, and Carla Curry (David) of Liberty; sisters-in-law, Mary Smith of Richmond, Kim Stanley of Richmond, and Denise Lamb of Liberty; brother-in-law, Darrell Stephenson of Hagerstown; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rolla Smith; two sisters, Etta Delucio and Mary Ellen Willett; sister-in-law, Connie Bell; and brother-in-law, Bob Bell. Visitation for Patricia Joan Stephenson will be from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
