Thomas H. Hart RICHMOND, Ind. – Thomas H. Hart, age 93, of Richmond, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at Friends Fellowship Community. Born August 7, 1916, in Fort Recovery, Ohio, to James E. and Rose Nutter Hart, he lived most of his life in Richmond. Thomas was owner/operator of State Auto Supplies. He was known as a master woodworker. Thomas was a former member of Elks Country Club. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Doris Hart to whom he was married April 4, 1941; daughter, Donna K. Leitner and her husband Jean-Pierre of Richmond; grandson, Tom Leitner and his wife Maleah of Garrett, Ind.; nieces; nephews and special friends, Bob Hart and Franz Heepe. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Albert, Raymond, Agnes and Walter; and granddaughter, Christina Leitner. Visitation for Thomas H. Hart will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday, February 8, 2010, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at noon Monday at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. James Spon officiating. Entombment will be in the Earlham Memorial Mausoleum.
