RICHMOND, Ind. Floyd Keifer Ruhl, age 80, of Richmond, died Monday, November 19, 2012, at Reid Hospital. Born July 15, 1932, in Richmond, to Floyd and Josephine Bicknel Ruhl, he was a life-long resident of Richmond. Floyd graduated from Richmond High School and earned an associate degree from I.U. East. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel having served 27 years in the National Guard. Floyd was a general foreman at NATCO. He was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Lipscomb Ruhl of Richmond; daughter, Dana (Jeffrey) Uphaus of Richmond; son, Gregory (Sherran) Ruhl of New Paris, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ethan and PFC Eric Keifer Uphaus; sister, Beverly Berner of Richmond; brother, Charles (Betty) Ruhl of Richmond; nieces; nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private visitation and funeral service for Floyd Keifer Ruhl will be at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in Earlham Memorial Mausoleum.
